Macmillan look to Milk & Honey’s Kirsty Reid for Coffee Morning PR inspiration

As part of the strategic planning of PR activity around the 28th World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, Macmillan has welcomed the support of Milk & Honey’s client director, Kirsty Reid, to inspire fresh creativity in this year’s campaign.

Liam Colman, Senior Press Officer at Macmillan said: “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s best-known fundraising event and we work hard to ensure that our PR activity around the campaign feels fresh and exciting each year, so that we continue to inspire people to get involved.

“Having launched in 1990, this will be the 28th year of Macmillan’s Coffee Morning and it was great to have Kirsty’s input in planning this year’s PR strategy. Kirsty did a fantastic job of facilitating a creative session with the team and helping everyone to see Coffee Morning in a different light.”

Kirsty Reid recently joined Milk and Honey PR to grow the consumer division and creative offering at the agency. She said, “I love nothing more than helping brands step outside of their comfort zone and look at their activity through a different lens. Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has been a great success over the years. By using techniques to support their team to look at different ways they can approach the campaign with a fresh creative perspective, this year’s event looks to be even better! I can’t wait to see it all come together in September.”

Milk & Honey make ideas happen and will soon be revealing a new creative offering, including ad-hoc and immersive creativity sessions for brands, to help them get the BUZZ of new ideas. If you want to inject some creativity and buzz into your brand get in touch!
