Milk & Honey bolsters its content capabilities – adding deep cross-sector experience with new writer and editor, Adam Toms.

Now in its fourth year of business, Milk & Honey PR  starts 2020 by deepening its writing bench with the recruitment of new Head of Content, Adam Toms. Toms joins Milk & Honey as it continues impressive growth and expands its client offering – taking the team to 20 in the UK and fees in excess of £1 million.

Toms has more than 20 years of communications experience in the public, charity and private sectors. Before joining Milk & Honey he led editorial at Genomics England, was head of UK writing at WE PR, head of communications at a national medical regulator and has been at the sharp end of national events such as the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. He has put words into the mouths of Lords, ministers of state and blue-chip CEOs, with clients including Microsoft, Oracle and Tetra Pak.

At Milk & Honey he will oversee gold standard content for clients and build writing capabilities across the agency’s in-house teams.

Toms commented, ‘The most striking aspect of Milk & Honey PR is its understanding of the power of writing and its focus on delivering the very best communications. It’s an exciting time to join a company that invests both in its clients and staff.’

Leighton adds: ‘Milk & Honey is committed to clarity and impact in its communications and Adam brings real resource to the agency. Working with Adam earlier in his career, I know that his skill lies in understanding the essential components of a story and translating them into compelling, relevant and powerful content.’
